These Terms and Conditions apply to orders placed through Buy-chromos.com. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

Article 1. Applicability
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements made through Buy-chromos.com.
1.2 You may only place an order through this website if you are at least 16 years old.
1.3 By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1.4 Any deviation from these Terms and Conditions must be agreed in writing. All other provisions will remain applicable.
1.5 Where third parties, such as payment or transport services, are used to fulfil an order, these Terms and Conditions remain applicable to the agreement between the buyer and Vintage by Barbara.
Article 2. Offers and agreements
2.1 All items are described and illustrated as accurately as possible. Obvious mistakes or errors in a description, price or image are not binding.
2.2 An order only becomes final once it has been accepted by Vintage by Barbara. If an order cannot be fulfilled, the buyer will be informed as soon as possible and any amount already paid will be refunded.
2.3 Colours shown in photographs may differ slightly from the actual colours of an item due to lighting, photography and screen settings.
2.4 Most items offered, including chromos, lithographs, porcelain cards and postcards, are old, antique or second-hand items. They may therefore show signs of age, use or wear.
One or more photographs are provided for each item and form an integral part of the description. Buyers are expected to examine the description and photographs carefully before purchasing.
Characteristics or signs of age, use or wear that are clearly mentioned in the description or visible in the photographs cannot subsequently be considered an undisclosed defect.
If you have any doubts about the condition or characteristics of an item, additional information or photographs may be requested via the contact page before placing an order.
2.5 Certain collectibles, including Liebig chromos, may be given a condition rating, for example from “excellent” to “good”. Such ratings are given to the best of our ability but remain a personal assessment. The photographs are therefore always an important part of assessing the condition of the item.
2.6 Many items are unique or available only once. If, due to a technical error or simultaneous orders, an item is no longer available, the buyer will be informed as soon as possible and any amount already paid will be refunded in full.
Article 3. Prices and payments
3.1 All prices shown on Buy-chromos.com are stated in euros unless expressly indicated otherwise.
Sales through Buy-chromos.com are currently made without charging VAT. VAT invoices are not issued.
Shipping costs are stated separately or, where they cannot be calculated automatically, communicated to the buyer before the order is finally processed.
3.2 Payment is made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout or in accordance with the payment instructions provided after ordering.
An order will only be shipped once the full amount due has been received and, where applicable, confirmed by the payment service.
3.3 If payment cannot be completed or is not received within the stated payment period, Vintage by Barbara may cancel the order.
3.4 The price agreed for an item when the order is confirmed will not subsequently be increased. Obvious pricing or input errors are excluded from this provision.
3.5 Any import duties, local taxes, customs charges or other levies imposed by the authorities of the destination country are payable by the buyer.
Article 4. Delivery and shipping
4.1 Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the buyer. The buyer is responsible for providing a correct and complete address.
4.2 Vintage by Barbara aims to ship orders within two working days after receipt of full payment, unless otherwise stated or agreed with the buyer.
4.3 Stated delivery times are indicative. Actual delivery times may depend on the shipping method, carrier, destination country and customs formalities.
4.4 Vintage by Barbara is not responsible for delays by postal, parcel or transport services that are beyond its reasonable control.
4.5 If a shipment cannot be delivered and is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the buyer, the cost of any subsequent shipment will be borne by the buyer.
4.6 Shipments outside the European Union may be delayed by customs formalities and import inspections. Vintage by Barbara has no control over the duration of such procedures.
4.7 If an order is visibly damaged upon delivery, the buyer is requested to report this as soon as possible and, where possible, take photographs of the packaging and damage. This may assist with any claim against the carrier.
Article 5. Ownership and risk
5.1 Ownership of an ordered item passes to the buyer only after the full amount due, including any shipping costs, has been received.
5.2 Vintage by Barbara takes reasonable care to package items properly according to the nature of the product and the chosen shipping method.
5.3 The risk of loss or damage during transport passes to the buyer when the order is delivered to the specified delivery address.
5.4 If the buyer independently chooses a carrier not offered by Vintage by Barbara, the risk passes to the buyer once the order has been handed over to that carrier.
Article 6. Intellectual property
6.1 Photographs, texts and other original content created by Vintage by Barbara and published on Buy-chromos.com may not be copied, published, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
6.2 Brand names, images, illustrations and other elements appearing on the vintage, antique or collectible items offered may be protected by third-party intellectual property rights. The sale of an item does not transfer any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights relating to it.
6.3 The buyer is responsible for any use made after purchase of images, brand names or other protected elements appearing on a purchased item.
Article 7. Returns and complaints
7.1 Please check your order as soon as possible after receipt. If an incorrect item has been delivered, an item has been damaged during transport or clearly does not correspond to its description, please report this as soon as possible via info@buy-chromos.com.
Where possible, please include the order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging.
7.2 Vintage by Barbara voluntarily offers buyers the possibility to return a purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt, unless otherwise expressly stated for the item or a return is not possible due to the nature of the item.
Before returning an item, the buyer must notify Vintage by Barbara via info@buy-chromos.com.
7.3 The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. It must be carefully and adequately packaged to prevent damage during return transport.
7.4 The direct cost of returning an item is borne by the buyer, except where an incorrect item was delivered or otherwise agreed in advance.
7.5 If the buyer returns an item because they have changed their mind, the original shipping costs will not be refunded and the return shipping costs are also borne by the buyer. Only the purchase price paid for the returned item will be refunded.
If an incorrect item was delivered or the item received differs materially from its description, Vintage by Barbara will, following consultation, also bear reasonable shipping and return costs.
7.6 Signs of age, use or wear that were clearly stated in the product description or visible in the product photographs before purchase are not considered undisclosed defects.
7.7 This voluntarily offered return option does not affect any other rights that may apply under mandatory law.
Article 8. Condition of items and warranty
8.1 Most items offered through Buy-chromos.com are old, antique, vintage or second-hand items. Such items cannot be expected to be in the same condition as new products.
8.2 Normal signs of age, use and wear inherent to the nature and age of an item are not considered defects where they are clearly apparent from the description or photographs or may reasonably be expected for such an item.
8.3 Vintage by Barbara makes every reasonable effort to describe and illustrate the condition, characteristics and any visible defects of each item as accurately as possible. The photographs form an integral part of the product description.
8.4 Condition ratings for collectibles, such as “excellent”, “very good” or “good”, are given to the best of our ability but remain an assessment. Buyers are therefore advised to examine the photographs carefully.
8.5 If, upon receipt, an item differs materially from its description or has an undisclosed defect that could not reasonably have been identified from the photographs, the buyer may contact info@buy-chromos.com. An appropriate solution will then be sought in consultation with the buyer.
8.6 To the extent permitted by law, no additional commercial warranty is provided for old, antique, vintage or second-hand items.
Article 9. Orders and communication
9.1 Communication regarding orders is primarily conducted via the email address provided by the buyer. The buyer is responsible for providing a correct and accessible email address.
9.2 Vintage by Barbara is not responsible for delays or non-receipt of messages caused by an incorrect email address, spam filters, disruptions to email or internet services or other technical problems beyond its reasonable control.
9.3 If you do not receive an expected order or payment confirmation, please contact info@buy-chromos.com.
9.4 Electronic communications, including emails and messages sent through the website, may be used as evidence of agreements made, insofar as permitted by law.
Article 10. Force majeure
10.1 Vintage by Barbara is not liable for delays or inability to fulfil an order resulting from circumstances reasonably beyond its control.
10.2 Force majeure may include natural disasters, fire, war or serious civil unrest, government measures, strikes, serious disruptions to internet, energy or payment services and serious disruptions to postal, parcel or transport services.
10.3 If force majeure temporarily prevents an order from being fulfilled, fulfilment may be postponed until it is reasonably possible again.
10.4 If fulfilment becomes permanently impossible or would result in an unreasonably long delay, either the buyer or Vintage by Barbara may cancel the order. If the buyer has already paid and the order is not fulfilled, the amount paid for the undelivered items will be refunded.
Article 11. Miscellaneous provisions
11.1 The buyer is responsible for providing correct and complete information necessary for processing and shipping an order.
11.2 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is wholly or partly invalid, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
11.3 Vintage by Barbara may use third parties, such as payment, postal, parcel and transport services, to fulfil orders.
11.4 If Vintage by Barbara does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms and Conditions in a particular case, this does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce that provision at a later date.
11.5 Vintage by Barbara may amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary. An order is governed by the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time the order was placed.
11.6 If these Terms and Conditions are available in several languages and a difference in interpretation arises between the language versions, the Dutch-language version will serve as the reference version, insofar as permitted by law.
Article 12. Applicable law and disputes
12.1 These Terms and Conditions and all orders and agreements made through Buy-chromos.com are governed by Belgian law, insofar as mandatory legal provisions do not provide otherwise.
12.2 In the event of a dispute, the parties will first attempt to reach an amicable solution. The buyer may contact info@buy-chromos.com for this purpose.
12.3 If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be submitted to the competent court in accordance with the applicable legal rules on jurisdiction.
