Scenes include Prof. Becher extracting gas from coal, the sacred fires of Baku, gas lighting along the Ohio, Philippe Lebon in Paris (1786), Clegg’s factory in London (1812), and a modern gas plant. Each card features detailed artwork and the Liebig jar. Listed as No. 1118 in the Sanguinetti catalog.
The offered set, as shown in the photos, is not in mint condition; therefore, the asking price is €10 instead of the catalogue value of €15. No damage to the images themselves. Light wear to corners and edges.
