This Liebig chromo series – Sanguinetti no. 1591 – was issued in April 1954 under the title Het rijk van de Inca’s. The six cards cover key aspects of Inca civilisation, including arts and religion, earlier cultures, the expansion of the empire and architecture, the road network and social classes, the Chasquis and quipus, and the social and agricultural structure. The illustrations reflect the educational style of 1950s Liebig issues: clear, detailed and painted in soft tones. 

The series is in very good condition (VG+ to EX). Minimal corner wear, no tears or folds.
